Privacy Policy
Last updated 22-07-2026
This policy explains what STRABB Pty Ltd (“STRABB”, “we”, “us”) collects when you join the waitlist at strabb.io and how we handle it, consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
When you submit the waitlist form, you give us:
- your name, email address and phone number;
- how many listings you manage;
- optionally, your biggest operational pain point and the software you currently use.
We also automatically record some technical information about the submission: your IP address, your browser’s user-agent string, the page you came from and the time you submitted.
If you reach strabb.io through a marketing or referral link, we also record the campaign attribution tags in that link’s web address (the utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term parameters) so we know which channel brought you to us. These are saved alongside your waitlist details.
Why we collect it
- to contact you about the waitlist, early access and the STRABB launch;
- to understand who is signing up so we can build and prioritise the right features;
- to protect the waitlist from spam, fraud and automated abuse, and to investigate security incidents. The technical information above is collected for this purpose.
We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.
Where it is stored
Your waitlist details are stored in a database hosted in Australia, which we use to manage the list. The technical information collected for security is kept separately in our application monitoring (Azure Application Insights, hosted in Australia) and is not added to that database. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell humans from bots on the form; Cloudflare processes limited request data to provide that check.
How long we keep it
- the security and technical information is kept for 90 days in our application monitoring (Azure Application Insights), then deleted automatically;
- your waitlist details are kept until STRABB launches or until you ask us to remove them, whichever comes first.
Overseas disclosure
Your waitlist details and the security logs are stored in Australia. The only overseas element is the Cloudflare Turnstile bot check on the form: Cloudflare is based in the United States and processes limited request data to provide that check. We only use providers we consider take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can ask us to take you off the waitlist at any time. If you have a privacy concern you can raise it with us; if you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
